Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said regarding the fourth verse of Surah Bani Israel (17):
‘And We had made known to the children of Israel in the Book: Most certainly you will make mischief in the land twice…’ regarding (first) the assassination of Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) and (second) the attack on Hasan b. Ali (a.s.)
‘…and most certainly you will behave insolently with great insolence.’ in killing Husain b. Ali (a.s.)
