Question mark on Islam of Three Rulers

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The three rulers, respected by the Muslim majority, are supposed to have had cordial relations with the Ahle Bait (a.s.) i.e. Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a.), Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) and Hasanain (a.s.). And in turn the Ahle Bait (a.s.) were civil towards the three rulers and had no friction with them.

How is it possible to claim that relations were cordial between both the parties, when the very Islam of these rulers is questionable given how Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) and Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a.) dealt with them.

Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a.) was so upset with the first and second oppressors that she refused to speak to them and did not even answer their salutations (salam), while it is obligatory to reply to a Muslim’s salutations and it is not permissible to stay upset with a Muslim for more than three days.

Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) refused to organize the burial, funeral prayers of the third ruler, which was obligatory had he been a Muslim. To that end, the third ruler suffered a fate worse than Abdullah Ibn Ubayy, the biggest hypocrite (after the first & second hypocrites), since Abdullah Ibn Ubayy at least got a burial and funeral prayers by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), even if only in appearance, in a nod to his apparent companionship. By not organizing burial and funeral prayers of third oppressor, Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) has nullified even his apparent companionship of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), as his hypocrisy level was higher making him usurp caliphate, which Abdullah Ibn Ubayy did not do.

Under the circumstances to claim that things were cordial between the rulers and Ahle Bait (a.s.) is misleading and mischievous or in the least, indicates ignorance of facts.
