Umar b. Khattab stood up and said to the Prophet (s.a.w.a.), You keep telling Ali b. Abi Talib, You are to me like Haroon was to Moosa, but Allah mentioned Haroons name in the Quran but did not mention Ali.
The Prophet (s.a.w.a.) replied to him O disgusting Bedouin! Have you not heard this verse, The path of Ali is a straight path. (Surah Hijr (15): 41)?
